Policy

The global nature of COPAC creates an ideal platform to promote cooperatives in the context of international policy initiatives. COPAC also benefits from UN agencies as members to provide expert advice about policy processes. COPAC’s policy work aims to insert the needs, values and goals of cooperative enterprises into relevant policy discussions where appropriate.

COPAC’s policy priorities include the post-2015 development agenda and Sustainable Development Goals, climate change and the Committee on World Food Security.
